Bradshaw is now the senior VP for MTVE Brands International, reporting to Kerry Taylor, who has departed her position as executive vp.
MTV Entertainment Group brands abroad will be led by a new executive for the first time. Kerry Taylor is vacating her post as executive vp of MTV Entertainment International, replaced by Kelly Bradshaw as senior vp of MTV Entertainment Brands International.
She will be in charge of leading the MTV Entertainment businesses, which include MTV, Comedy Central, Paramount Network, and VH1 outside of the United States.
“After 14 brilliant years, long-time partner and friend Taylor has decided to depart,” ViacomCBS Networks International president and CEO Raffaele Annecchino informed staff in an internal letter obtained by The Hollywood Reporter. “Kerry Taylor will be sorely missed by many of you who have worked with her, as she has made significant contributions to our brands and audience. From being the first chief marketing officer at Viacom UK to her most recent position as general manager of MTV U.K., Kerry has used the creative power of our organization to link our products and content with consumers all around the world. ”
In addition to his current position, Bradshaw stated: “Kelly has a stellar reputation for pushing the MTV brand forward, and we are confident she will take the team to another great page in its history. Prior to that, she was vp of brand & content strategy at MTV, where she was responsible for original content strategy across the company’s linear, VOD, and social platforms and developed and maximized global franchises while also developing editorial plans. In 2021, MTVE Group International’s largest social performance under her watch. She started her career in the media business as vp and brand lead for MTV U.K., Northern and Eastern Europe, where she oversaw programming, marketing, VOD, production, and talent while also managing music.”
Bradshaw, for example, funded the hit MTV UK shows Teen Mom UK and the memo stated. “Under Kelly’s leadership, MTV U.K. increased by more than 125 percent and recorded its highest share ever.”
The document also praised Taylor’s content accomplishments. “On the content side, Kerry has led her team to produce many no. 1 hits, including taking the Shores franchise across the world from the United Kingdom’s Geordie to Acapulco, and creating top-rated local versions of Ex on the Beach and Catfish,” it said. “She also worked closely with her team to provide our audience important offers such as MTV’s Generation Change: Black Lives Matter and Comedy Central’s Drunk History: Black Stories. Furthermore, MTVE International is on track to have its second consecutive most social year in history.”
Annecchino, who assumed his position a year ago, also stated that following the recombination of Viacom and CBS, additional operational adjustments would be implemented.
In the coming weeks, (MTV Entertainment Group president and CEO) Chris (McCarthy) will announce the new global content leadership team, which will conclude our new global team structure.
